Summer Camp
Welcome to Forecast Farms’ 2025 Summer Camp—running Monday–Friday, 9 AM–2 PM for kids ages 7–14. Each themed week is a new adventure, blending hands-on horsemanship with creative activities, and celebrating every camper’s progress with awards and certificates.
What We'll Cover
Each day is designed to build skills step by step—on and off the horse. From riding basics to horse care and barn safety, your child will walk away more confident, capable, and connected than ever.
English Hunt-Seat Riding Fundamentals
Master the core skills that every great rider begins with—posture, balance, and control—taught in a way that’s fun, supportive, and age-appropriate.
Hands-On Horse-Care Workshops
From grooming and tacking to feeding and reading body language—these workshops help kids truly connect with horses while learning the value of care and consistency.
Safe Handling & Barn Protocols
We teach your child how to safely lead, tie, mount, and care for a horse—while reinforcing respect, responsibility, and awareness in every barn activity.
Confidence & Responsibility Training

What ages are eligible for camp?
Our camp is designed for children ages 7–14. All skill levels are welcome—from total beginners to riders looking to level up.
When and where does camp take place?
We run week-long sessions Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:30 PM, at Forecast Farms (). Drop-off begins at 8:45 AM; pick-up is between 2:30PM.
What should my camper bring?
Lunch & Snacks: Please pack a reusable lunch box and two snacks.
Water Bottle: Hydration is key!
Attire: Closed-toe shoes or boots, long pants, and weather-appropriate layers.
Extras: Sunscreen, hat, and any comfort items (e.g., small backpack).
Are meals provided?
No—campers bring their own lunch and snacks each day. We take two supervised snack breaks and one lunch break.
What’s the group size?
We keep groups small (typically 4-6 campers per instructor) to ensure personalized coaching and safety.
Is there a health or injury policy?
We require a signed waiver and health form prior to camp. Our staff includes at least one certified First-Aid responder on-site at all times.
